MyTurn/YourTurn: Thanksgiving Foods

MyTurn:  It has become tradition for the Thanksgiving meal that my mom prepares to be very non-traditional.  Since there are some foods that I normally associate with “home” that I don’t have any place else, the best way for us to give thanks and celebrate is to have those foods! You can read all about it here.

YourTurn:

1.  What are you most looking forward to on your Thanksgiving plate this year?

2.  Do you have any “non-traditional” Thanksgiving traditions?

  1. Our non-traditional holiday is actually our tradition. For many years now we have our Thanksgiving on the Saturday after the regular Thursday holiday. That way we can visit the in-laws on the traditional day and not rush off to a second huge meal. So, on Nov. 24, we’ll be eating our turkey, filling, Cope’s corn, Nana’s cranberry sauce, and other goodies. Yummmmmmmmmmm!
